Which Sitcom are you living?

Are you struggling to get to your destiny and dealing with lack like the Evan’s family or have you moved on up like the Jefferson’s? Both families had similar  issues regardless of their status.  If you are living the Evan’s sitcom then you are optimistic and you are definitely trying to live your dreams. The Evan’s may not have known, but they were living and utilizing the principles of the Law of attraction. They had the vision and they often spoke it in to reality. They would often get a break through in every episode.  Something good would happen, that would give us hope in believing that they were finally getting their fair due!!  But somehow after the excitement and the, we are getting out of the ghetto dance was done, the disappointment would come or the plan would fall through. Just to hear Florida Evan’s say oh well, the important thing is we have each other! DAMN...DAMN...DAMN!!!!

What was missing? The prayed, they tried to live a decent life among turmoil, they openly expressed their goals, they even had a coffee can that they kept for Michael’s college fund dream. But, with all their faith and plans, why were they always surprised or skeptical when an opportunity would come or something good would happen? Did disappointment teach them to not believe?

If you are living the Jefferson’s sitcom, then you have arrived, in your mind you have crossed over in to the good life. George Jefferson, the father of the clan had no problem in saying what he wanted and going after it. He left no stone unturned to get what he wanted. He put the Law of Attraction process in to full gear. No, was never an option for George to get his dreams of success for him and his family, they seem to have activated their faith and placed and order and the universe delivered.

What was missing? With all that money and material gain, the Jefferson’s still had some of the same family issues that the Evan’s did. But how could this be? They were both on different levels of life achievements. Do you think that if the Evan’s had the money the Jefferson’s had then all their troubles would have been over? What about if the Jefferson’s had more heart and less money, would all their troubles be over?

Solution:
Both families started out the same, striving for what we think is the good life. Do you have an “if only I had statement”, ‘If only I did’. We all suffer from what we could have done or the lack of. George in all his glory knew how to activate his faith because he refused to take no for an answer to his dreams. In our hearts we all think that if we finally make it, we can show the world that we are worth something. So we throw our selves in to our work, ignoring love, life and everything going on around us to gain what? Maybe we could be like the Evan’s and struggle and struggle but we have love, life and plenty of friends in the same boat, we have parties and talk about it and everybody agree that we going to make it one day!! But here with all the heart and love, we are not strong enough to take no for an answer and really stand up and fight for our dream!!

Life is a balance, love with money is no good, and money with out love is no good. Stop fighting against stuff and complaining, truly open your mind and believe in your dreams. Live, love and pay attention to life, right now, be in the present through the process of moving on up, then there will be something worth doing the happy dance for!!

I had moved on up like "The Jeffersons" after leaving a "Different World". But after being in "The Game" and running through so many "Girlfriends", I found myself seeking the Lord... can I get an "Amen"?? This sent me looking for "Good Times". Later, I had a wise lady sit me down and talk to me... well "Thats My Mama". Now Im chillin like "The Cosbys". We all know it takes "Different Strokes" to rule the world.
