Do you know what you want?

Most of us are still trying to figure it out, or better yet, we never knew we had a choice in the hand that was dealt in our lives. Some of us blame our parents for not providing enough choices or informing us that we do have a choice. I use to feel that I knew exactly what I wanted out of life, like when I would get married, what he would be like, where I would live, how many kids I would have, and even how much money I would make, but looking back in making those plans for my life, I have to laugh at myself, because at that time of making all of these important decisions of what I wanted, I was at the ripe age of 16!!

As I moved in to adult hood, I often felt like life threw me a curve ball. I was no longer in control of my well laid out plan, there was no husband and three kids and I definitely was not living the glamorous life that I had envisioned for myself. In studying the process of the Law of Attraction, I learned that the key to accomplishing your personal attraction factor is deciding exactly what you want. Many times in our quest to achieve process, we over look the obvious, we condition our selves to take what we are given and not expect more. We take on the notion that our dreams are merely a notion, and that we have to deal with our present reality. I feel that we are limiting our selves in that type of belief system, and if the Law of Attraction is correct our present reality was created by our own desires or lack there of.

I have a friend that is very distinct about what he wants; he knows exactly what he wants!! His directive is always on some type of course, and although it may change from time to time, he still makes it a course and he makes it a priority to plan a course. Why so many of us especially women, make decisions for everyone else in our lives but don’t take the time to figure out what it is we really want. It’s like looking at the drive thru menu of life, and you have all of these wonderful choices but we don’t have any clue what to order!! The rule of Attraction says that we must make some decisions, to be able to create what we want in our life.

1. Identify your desire
2. Give your desire attention
3. Allow it

I feel like I'm so lost sometimes... I know what I want and all my needs but I feel like I can't get up and go for it....and I don't know why? I always hear" Do something you love” as a career but I love Fashion and Music and I'm a Married Mother of Four, so the time to go to school for either is hard. Also my children are in activates as well... I just don't know where to start. I need to get my credit together and even trying to do that "to get my family a house is difficult. I need to repair my credit and I DON'T KNOW HOW GET THERE EITHER... I just feel lost sometimes with NO DIRECTION!

I used to feel just like what you described, Santasha. I have two adult children now, but back then it felt as if I put my life on hold because of my children, but that was my choice they have family that wanted to help by taking them to some of their activities, but I just felt so guilty by me not taking them because they are my children. Well, take it from me let go, and let someone help you with your children, you need some inner space, quite time, to just sit back and listen to your thoughts. Life is very short!!! You have to make time for yourself because once your children are all grown up they will have a life of their own and what will you have? Think about that...Hell, who's credit doesn't need repairing? My advice to you is do something about your situation and don't sit around waiting for someone to fix it for you...at least thats what I did. I stay busy now, I travel every year to different countries, taking swim lessons, golfing...and these are things that I never had time to do that I always wanted to do.....and I'm enjoying life.....
